Kindergarten Round Up
Thursday, April 25, 2019
(Belle 4:30pm to 6pm - Neponset 7:30am to 5pm)
NEEDED BY THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL
- Immunization Records - Must have all kindergarten boosters after the age of four.
- Physical Examination & Lead Testing - Physical exam form must be completed, dated, and signed by the physician no earlier than 1 year prior to the 1st day of school.
- Dental Screening - Required before entering kindergarten. Dentist or physician MUST complete the Dental Screening Form.
- Vision Screening - Required before entering kindergarten. Vision exam with an eye care specialist is highly recommended. Vision Screening Form
- Proof of Birth and appropriate Proof of Residency
Children residing in the Kewanee Community Unit School District who will be five years old on or before September 1, 2019, should plan to attend Kindergarten Round-Up at their attendance center on Thursday, April 25th, 2019.
Kindergarten Round-Up provides an opportunity for parents to meet the teachers/principal and see their school. Parents receive a brief overview of the kindergarten program and its academic/social expectations. Attendance also helps the district plan for the next year's staffing.
Parents can pre-register students during Kindergarten Round-Up if they have their child’s proof of birth and appropriate proof of residency.
Parents MUST attend Round-Up at their HOME attendance center
