Central School Receives 3-D Printers

The Central Jr. High "Boiler Bots" have been busy working with recently acquired 3-D printers.  The District purchased the printers with funds received through the Healthy Kids Community Grant and are being used in conjunction with the 21st Century Community Learning Center.  The goal is to create pieces to use as part of the First Lego League Hydrodynamics challenge this year.  After learning some basic skills in regards to the 3-D printers, it was decided seasonal creations was the way to go.  Students are shown with a pumpkin and a snowflake.  We are excited to see the awesome creations that will be coming in the future!
