Holiday Fun at Belle!

Students and Staff at Belle Alexander had a little holiday fun this week.

Kindergarten students visited the Polar Express.  Decked out in pajamas, students road the rail from their classroom to the KHS Auditorium to view the classic movie.  The holiday train theme continued as they enjoyed lunch in “Cafe Car” and visited each classroom to create different Polar Express related crafts, enjoy a cup of cocoa, and conduct their own bell ringing symphony! A special visitor from the North stopped by the check in on the students.  Mr. and Mrs. Claus helped spread the Christmas spirit throughout each of the classrooms.

1st Grade students or 1st Grade “Who-dents” as they were called during the great “Grinchmas Extravaganza” had some fun of their own.  Their day started with a visit from the Grinch himself! Then students visited each classroom and participated in a science experiment to help the Grinch’s heart grow, frosted the Grinch’s Christmas tree, and made some special Grinch Mix.  They ended their day viewing the classic Dr. Seuss movie while Santa and Mrs. Claus visited each of the classrooms.
