Professional/​Certified Positions

  • 2026-2027 Elementary Teacher(s) - Building TBA (Grades K-6) – Salary will be based on the candidate's credentials and the collective bargaining agreement.
  • 2026-2027 Spanish Teacher - KHS (Grades 9-12) – The salary will be based on the candidate's credentials and the collective bargaining agreement.
  • 2026-2027 Agriculture Teacher (2nd Semester) – Kewanee High School. Salary will be based on the candidate’s credentials and the collective bargaining agreement.
  • 2027-2028 Math Teacher – Central (Grade 8) – Salary will be based on the candidate’s credentials and the collective bargaining agreement.
  • 2027-2028 Math Teacher – KHS (Grades 9-12) – Salary will be based on the candidate’s credentials and the collective bargaining agreement.
  • 2027-2028 Title Reading Teacher – Belle (K-1) – Salary will be based on the candidate’s credentials and the collective bargaining agreement.
  • 2027-2028 Title Math Teacher – Belle (K-1) – Salary will be based on the candidate’s credentials and the collective bargaining agreement.

Support Staff Positions

  • 2026-2027 Bus Drivers (regular route and substitutes) - PreK-12 
  • 2026-2027 Food Service Workers (Full-Time, Part-Time & Substitutes) - Building to be determined (P-12) - Salary Range: $15.00-$21.87/hr
  • 2026-2027 School Cross Guard  School: Belle  Grades: K-1  Qualifications: Must be responsible, be able to keep students safe and assist them in crossing traffic.   Must have strong situational awareness. Pay Range: $15 - $26.51
  • 2026-2027 F/T Maintenance (Assistant) – District Wide – Must be able to assist the maintenance department. Pay Range: $15.00-$17.00
  • 2026-2027 Transportation Director – Districtwide – (Position may be combined with other roles in the district.) 2nd Division Driver (preferred) or 1st Division (accepted). Must be able to work well with others and be able to manage people. Pay Range: $15-$35.30

Extra-Curricular Positions

  • 2026-2027 Video Yearbook Advisor - Central JH (Grades 4-8)
  • 2026-2027  Jr. High Volleyball Coach School  District: School: Central Jr. High School  Qualifications: Illinois Teaching Certificate or IESA Coaching License Required   Stipend Amount: $3,651.60
  • 2026-2027  Chess Club Advisor School  Kewanee High School Grades: 9-12  Qualifications: Must be able to work well with students and others. Must have some knowledge in the game of Chess. Stipend Amount: $1,623.84 
  • 2026-2027 Assistant Girls Basketball Coach(es)  School:  Kewanee High School  Grades:  9-12  Qualifications:  Must hold a valid  Illinois Teaching Certificate or High School Coaching License. Must work well with other staff and students.   Stipend Amount: $4,712.40
